Our Missions Committee
Role of the Missions Committee
- Educate the congregation in what God is doing around the world, highlight opportunities for service
- Encourage missionaries through intentional missionary care
- Engage the congregation in missions locally and globally
- Evaluate the slate of missionaries annually and make recommendations to add or remove as appropriate
- Evaluate applications for short term missions
- Establish an annual budget which is presented to the congregation for its ratification at the annual general meeting
